Doesn't have any harp (like the above clip), but Screamin Jay was a great showman and voodoo was a big part of his act



any other examples of Voodoo Blues?

The insistent, hauntingly theme of the background is highly suitable for harp playing.
Not so many examples to listen to so far...

How about John Hammond's (never heard of him!) harp playing in the first clip, starting from about 1:50?

IMHO, rather basically but efficiently played.
More electrified and distorded sound would maybe have been better, and also less high notes, which are close to harsh or don't suit the musical background.
