I stoped playing live gigs about 4 years ago! i think i just got tired of bars and clubs ect,
Well one of my daughters neighbours has,a blues band so my daughter told him "my dad used to play harp in bands years ago" and amazingly he had seen a band i was in 20 years ago and asked if i would play with his band for a birthday gig!! well of course i am flattered and still have my amp and mikes ect i also have some killer new harps (from Kevin Baker) which i would love to give a workout!!!
i now only play acoustic at home for myself i have not even switched my amp on for 4 years and also thought i had hung up my spurs at 53, i cant decide if i realy want to do it! bit of a dilemer eh!!!

it's just a one nighter.
dont build it up it anything else.
go out. play some harp. have a great time.
worry about what to do with your spurs afterwards.

Thanks guys! that is a resounding go for it,
i am going to meet with the guy and have a bit of a jam! see if this re-ignites my fire,
oh yes! back in the day knickers used to head my way..........wonder if this will happen 20 years along the road. lol

@Fingers. Have fun. I'm sure the knickers will fly your way. They might just be the comfy kind, with extra elastic, is all. I was caught in a cougar sandwich myself a couple of weeks ago. Barely escaped...
