Thinking about replacing the speaker in my SF PR. just wondering if anyone has a recommendation.
Thanks

A tele player friend of mine just brought his SF 1978 Princeton over and tried several different speakers that I am thinking of selling. He wanted a brighter tone for guitar, and liked the Jensen 10CQ, though he is considering buying a Weber 10F150T.

In trying speakers, we also hooked up my 'Lil Buddy speaker to it for comparison. I am not selling the 'Lil Buddy. It was darker than he liked for his tele. Then I blew harp through the Princeton into the "Lil Buddy. I loved how it sounded for harp with the 'Lil Buddy. A much bigger sound than I expected, with good bottom end. I highly recommend this speaker with the Princeton.

Doug - yep, that is a great sounding speaker for blues harp. Instant fatness. I came to this thread to recommend if but you beat me to it, and very well.
