I have recently acquired a Kinder Anti Feedback pedal. I play bass harp in a band as the only bass instrument. I use a Richard Smith Harmonix system to pickup the bass. I normally run it through a 59 bassman reissue for stage monitor and lined out to the PA system. Sometimes the stage monitor (bassman) is quiet and feeds back if turned up. I definitely do not want to blow up any of the harmonix, kinder or fender equipment, but I wonder if they would work together to make a great bass amp?

Unfortunately I can't help with your question, but I was wondering if you could post a picture of the Harmonix bass harp pick-up. I'm familiar with some of the other Harmonix products, like the electric harmonica and the wireless chromatic harmonica system, but I haven't been able to find any information on the bass harmonica pick-up that you have.

As I understand it, and from what I can see on their site the Harmonix system is basically a microphone, albeit designed for a specific job. I don't see any reason why running it into the Kinder before the amp would be hazardous to the health of the pedal. The Kinder is designed to take all sorts of mics. How effective it would be with a bass harp is another question but then you do have the UB and AFB controls, for whatever they might be worth in this situation. Bottomline try it and see. May work great. May work like crap but I doubt if you'll blow anything up.

Tried it, it definitely enables a higher volume, but after a certain point does not get any louder, unlike the diatonic with a bullet which is scaareeeming!

Limited volume increase is to be expected. I run my Kinder with the Kalamazoo on occasion and get something in the way of increased volume but it can only do so much. I'm wondering if the frequency range of the bass harp is the limiting factor. If you wanted a clean sound you might consider a proper bass amp. Something like a Genz Benz Compact 300 with a 12" cab. Look it up. They're fantastic on a whole lot of levels and due to lack of name recognition easy to pick up cheapish second hand.

Since I got the SJ Avenger I've been thinking about selling off the Kinder as surplus to requirements but I've kept it so far on the off chance that I might need it in a "strange amp" situation. The Avenger is so naturally feedback resistant you have to go out of your way to get it to squeal and it can get f***ing loud by any standard yet give all the tone you could want at lower volume as well.
