If it's this mic,it is a Calrad 100 C -similar to a Shure.
It uses a 2 pin connector. Kens Electronics in Michigan carries the connector. http://www.kenselectronics.com/

It's Calrad. A copy of the Shure SlimX and it needs a 2 pole screw on connector. Probably not the sort of thing you can get nowadays unless you go to a harp mic dealer.
They come up quite often on ebay though and usually have the cable included - might be a cheaper option. It's a crystal element. This particular model got sold under a whole load of different names - I have one branded Eagle 100-C

You never know. In the past 20 years I've seen thousands of mics. Not every mic (of the same make and model) all ways uses the same connector. Yes it's a safe bet but not 100%. Just maybe someone took it upon themselves to change the connector at some point. As an example, I've had about 15 D4's and two of them had odd 2 pin connectors that were not standard.

Thanks @tmf714 and @MrVerylongusername. I am Rubin's student with the mic. You are more than likely correct that is has the two prong connector, but it already has an adapter for a cable. Problem is, the male threaded portion of the adapter is quite a bit smaller than a typical JT-30 mic cable.

Well that goes to show doesn't it!
The Shure slim x had the amphenol mc1f connector, and that does look like one - are you sure this is a Calrad? what does the front grill look like?
it's def. not a 2 pole connector, but if that isn't a standard amphenol single pole connector, like a JT30 - I don't know where you'd get a matching screw on part.
Maybe Greg can fit a standard amphenol connector for you?

@MrVerylongusername - I'll need to check but I am pretty darn sure it is a screwed in adapter to the two pole. If that's the case, best solution seems to be to get a better adapter?

Like I said, just call Kens Electronics in Michigan-if he cant get you headed in the right direction,no one can.
He more than likely has the adapters in stock-
2825 Lake Street Kalamazoo, MI 49048 (269) 345-4609
Its definetly a Calrad mic-nothing rare or odd about it-just the connector uses an adpater.

That connector is not an adapter. It's Japanese (obviously) and it's in between sizes of the standard switchcraft and the micro switchcraft screw on connector. The connector you need is very hard to find by itself. Ken might have one but I've never seen them on his website. Looking around more closely this might be the one you need: CR30-434 =CM-2 =PH-2316 =5501F: small 7/16" .456" center contact female connector $5.00. Off this page: http://www.kenselectronics.com/lists/micplug.htm
I might have one but would have to dig around.
You best bet is to get someone to install a standard switchcraft connector.
Here's the standard, jap and micro connectors

I love these micro connectors

Thanks @tmf714. I'll check in with Ken this week. I have stumped the best in Austin. Favorite response today was from a guy who has been around since the ice melted and he simply said "Can't you just get a mic that works?" I had to laugh.

Thanks @shbamac. Best explanation yet. Sure seems like that japanese connector. I did unscrew the connector this morning and sure enough there is no two prong connector in there. Just this connector with hot and ground wires.
I'll check out Ken's page for that single adapter. Worth a shot. I've got another on eBay I should win as well. It has the cord!
Live and learn!
