A great beginning to the 4th this morning at 2am-4am to us watching the conference in Geneva about the discovery of a new boson consistent with the Higgs Boson. A landmark day in particle and experimental physics.
Funny/Sad 4th story: At just before 2am this morning I was accused of surely being a meth addict. The reason? Because I was outside collecting insects at my porch light! Apparently NOBODY collects insects past midnight, and if you do, you MUST be a meth-smoking, strung-out drug addict. The man who accused me of this is currently holding my younger brother in custody against custody arrangements because of it!
Some people are so backwards.
Other than that, Great 4th so far! ATLAS using comic sans font for the Geneva Higgs presentation also put a smile on my face. :)

my first time to london I stayed @fairways in paddington....the landlord liked to pick fun at americans...when I asked him if he celebrated the 4th he said "yes and we call it thanksgiving"
