When I practice at home or in the car, things seem fine, but every now and then I get the chance to get on stage, and often I draw and all I hear is air. No notes. This ever happen to anyone?

It happens to me when I use too much force. And I use way more force when I am not in my car, alone where no one else can hear me...

I think the key is relaxation. One tends to get pumped up when you go live. I know I do! First time I did a live deal, I remember running out of draw breath way before I was finished with my lick run. Thought my lungs were going to explode.

Go ahead and play the blues if it'll make you happy.
