This band played my sisters wedding in the 80's. I came up from Tx for it on my way to gigs in NJ and NYC and sat in with the band. It is a New Jersey Wedding. I forget who the harp player was. Walter (having fun with a new toy scanner)

Almost looks like a young Rob Paparozzi. I think he's based out of the Jersey/New York area so that could fit.

here's one of rob playing my wedding on 9/19/1984. he and his brother had a band called the Bob Miller Orchestra.

i only found out by accident a couple of years ago that this was rob, when a friend mentioned that rob has played his wedding and we compared notes.

back then, a friend had recommended this blues band that also did weddings. we went to see them at some other wedding, and the harp player played Orange Blossom Special. blew me away. we made sure he played that at ours, too.

so yeah, i knew Rob Paparozzi before he was Rob Paparozzi.

that is who I thought it was but wasn't sure. Was yours a NJ wedding as well Garry? The band was pretty dry/stiff, a lot different than the southern juke joints vibe I was playing at the time or maybe it was the wedding/formal vibe? Walter
