Hi guys, I'm new to this site & new to amplifying harp music. I've been looking up different sites for reviews & U tube. Nastyolddog suggested check bluexlab (which I did). A few people have have put objections in the way. Any views any one can add would be appreciated. Any thoughts about Shure 545 ultimate.Or any other views re bluexlab. Cheers guys

i have a 545 which is the early version of the sm57. it's a unidirectional mic as opposed to omnidirectional. mine is one that can be wired hot or normal impedance although i have yet to do that.

i know Greg does quality work since he modded a mic for me. i figure when i get the scratch i'll have him mod my 545. the work he's done for me and the excellent info he shares on this and other forums make him a standup guy all the way in my book. he is easy to do business with.

that's my 2 cents!

I would encourage you (and others will, too) to check out Blows Me Away Productions (www.BlowsMeAway.com) for your amplified harp needs. This is Greg Heumann's endeavor. You have but to scroll down a little to read testimonials.

Colin1 - I'm in the UK (lancashire) and have a JT30 with a Shure controlled magnetic element for sale. It has a screw on connector fitted. It comes complete with a screw on lead as well. I'm only selling as I don't use it often enough. If you're interested you can have it for £120 plus postage. If you want it, want pictures / sound files, etc, just email me: paulandrewroutledge@googlemail.com
