Hey guys, i'm using Hohner Special 20s and I have a really difficult time using the upper register. Draw holes 7-9 are terrible. They barely get any sound, and probably aren't in tune. How can I fix them?

There is probably nothing wrong with your harmonicas.
You need to learn how to play properly.
I suggest you spend your time practicing, rather than "repairing" your harps.

Adjust your embouchure and "breath" through your harmonica rather than "suck" and "blow" through it.

I have been using Special 20's for quite a while now and I know that the lower register reeds are a bit dodgy when out of the box. I open the covers and look down the length of the reed plate and look for even reeds and maybe gap the lower 5 reeds blow and draw.
perhaps you could video you problem then we can see if its technique or badly adjusted reeds. I suspect its your technique. Try playing 1st position on a G or A harp slow blues. Thats what got my chops in good shape for 2nd postion upper reg. Hope that helps Cheers Russ

Adam,i had (and to a lesser degree)still have this problem it is 99% certain to be a playing thing and not a harp thing.Try playing with your jaw dropped as low as you can get it get the harp deep in your mouth and breath from the diaphram don't suck cos them little high notes will choke!

Adam,
I use Sp 20's and had a really hard time with the upper register while I was learning. There is about a 99% chance it is your embrochure and not the harp. Keep working at getting clean single notes from 6 Blow up to 10 Blow. It took me several months for this to happen, practice it for 10 mins each day and it will happen.

... ahem...hohner's are junk ( except for XB40's , due to the rollout ) Sp20's, MB's ..yeah, they start out alright, but they fail...FAST! If you can afford to play a harp for only a month...tops, then go with 'em.
I have LO's that are ten years long, with only minor maintenance. Huang's that still sound sweet even longer. Seydel's are mixed..very good, and disappointing. Suzuki's ? DANG, they sound way too bright, but the suckers LAST. L O V E the sound of my Hering 1923 Vintages...but I have to baby these, ,,,they're SO good though.
