i did a forum search and got some bad reviews of the Lone Wolf Harp Delay. i just gt mine in the mail today. after hooking up, plugging in, and trying it solo i am eager to play with a guitar, so wife is going to plug in later. i think i found a bad connector on my 707a bullet mic but i also have a hi z dynamic e-v and a crystal ruskin bullet mic which both sounded pretty good. feedback may bean issue.
i'm hoping some of you guys who use this gadget can give me some tips to get the most out of it both at home and out live.
thanks in advance!!

The video on the Lone Wolf page does a great job of explaining how to use it.

Don't know why anyone would give a bad review of the Harp Delay. Most give it great reviews by a wide margin. One may prefer another pedal for whatever reason but I don't think anyone could reasonably call the Harp Delay "bad".
One tip in using it is really to mess around with the settings. Go to the extremes of each control and you'll find out exactly what each does. In my experience, with the exception of specific tunes where one is going for a certain effect, less is more. Just a touch to fatten things a bit. It also helps in controlling feedback to a certain degree.
I found when I first got mine I used it all the time but quickly realized it was taking me away from what I wanted really. I now use it sparingly for effect on certain tunes or certain keys, minors for example. The fact that it really is true bypass is a critical feature. ---------- LSC

found the video by Ryan Hartt which is very informative.
the reviews i saw were in this forum from like '09 or even earlier. the negative aspects were likely caused by a weak battery or possible no idea how to use the item. i had a boss delay many years ago and figured out how to use it pretty well, but back then i had very little skill at playing. i wanted to get this just to put a bit of fat on my tone here and there.
thanks guys! ---------- http://www.reverbnation.com/jawboneandjolene

I for one don't really care for the sound of the Lone Wolf Harp delay. It's not bad, but I prefer the tone of other devices.

took this to rehearsal tonight and it just rocks. i had a lot of fun dialing it in and getting different effects on different songs. the guys really liked how it filled up the space on single note leads and over all fatted things up for me. i also sang through it and my harp mic and amp as well and it was almost scary how heavy the tone got with my deep voice.
i used an extension cord and a long guitar cable to keep it next to me and i think this will be vital to keep the tweak on it as songs change and have different needs.
over all my first impression is all good. ---------- http://www.reverbnation.com/jawboneandjolene

my second impression is even better. this thing really put depth and fatness and some heat on my licks out live tonight. it did what i asked it to do all night. i suggest that if you have good harp chops and a decent amp, it may be time to spend the cash on one of these. it does a lot to improve tone. did i mention i ordered it on like wednesday and it arrived on saturday? and the folks there are very nice via email etc. ---------- http://www.reverbnation.com/jawboneandjolene
