Actually, a performer going by the name of Little Walter III plays every Saturday night at J & J's Lounge on Mississippi Avenue in south Memphis. For real:

I need to drive up there and see what this is all about.

I went out west last year and saw Sonny Boy. He was only 7 years old, and he was white.

I think sonny boy might have croaked it.

If I remember correctly, Ardella Williams is a relative of Jazz Gillum. Scott Dirks (drums) and Dave Waldman (guitar) are also killer harp players.

I should clarify: Little Walter III is, as far as I can tell, a real player, and I am indeed curious to see his act. The video clip in my second post has nothing to do with THAT Little Walter III; it's just a fanciful segue from the OP. Ardella Williams is Jazz Gillum's daughter (Joe L's hunch was correct.) The harp player in the video isn't THAT Little Walter III but merely one of many talented, committed aspirants to the throne.
