I only saw Mark Sallings once, at a Bucks Country R&B Picnic, and he didn't blow me away. But I like what he's doing here a whole lot. He sings beautifully, swinging as he does, and he certainly convinces me that the SM57 is a good harp mic! There's some fancy stuff towards the end, too.

Thought I was the only harp player in Northeaster Arkansas... His hometown of McCrory Arkansas is only 25 miles from my house too!!

What he did works for me. I'm no expert, but this kind of straight ahead, skilfully executed, fluid, soulful, original to my ears blues harp - and the singing too - rings my bell.
