I know this aint harp related but I thought maybe someone here might know.thanks
Ive been on a 2 year break sence Black friday,but now I want to play again ,But I want to play at the nice sites likes Poker stars,I know USA players cant,But Im out of the loop but was wondering can a IP address hider be used,and how about offshore net accounts for getting money to and from,Any help is greatly apreaciated,In the past I would look on the Cardplayer forum,But i didnt see one anymore.We need to get our poker sites back

weren't a lot of them shut down for bank fraud, money laundering and illegal gambling? Poker Stars especially?

I havent been up on it in awhile.but they made it illeagle for banks to process the cashouts,So most the Big sites said the heck with USA,we have the rest of the world .Back about 2 years ago.Poker stars was a hot ticket on the European,Stock market,I allways had fast and reliable cashouts from Poker stars it was my favorite site.The thought process of the US Goverment was that terorist were laudrying money though them,along with stop all pot smokers cause buying a bag helps the terorists,which I cant understand they could make a fortune with taxing both resources.But big brother Goverment allways looking out for our better decisions;-)

If there was anything bad going on I didnt affect me,I was able to buy some of my harp gear cause of poker stars not alot but every bit helps,But black friday hit and it put a end to most online sites that acepted americans,except a few and there small.low trafic and a mess to tranfer funds ,I just droped out ,but the bug is hitting me again need to make some extra cash,And from what I can see its probelly not worth the time,Poker stars had 200,000 people on at peak hours and they firgure half was US players,Now theres 6 sites avaible to US and there peak hours no more than 5000 apiece,where did all the US players go,It has even died down at the casino from last time I played there,Unless the die hard players firgured out a way to get in the Outlawed games,Then a massive amount of US players are not playing,Im just trying to firgure out if its worth pursueing further,Or weight out the storm ,Im a PPA member and were trying to get it regulated and taxed and setup for US players ,BUt I havent really checked into much on whats going on there either,Out of the loop with it.

well with the big sites there is way to much money being made with each hand gets a rake,they make money who ever wins,and some small sites have had bots ,but a bot aint hard to beat if you use human imagination,It will outplay a bot most time,I love online poker,I was a consitant winner,I did lose but won more than i lost ,well acordially to my books I kept,Although I just played small levels most times , buy in for 20 or 50 bucks play the 25 cent games or less or dollar tourneys take me about a month or maybe 2 but get it up to about a 100 cash out,if I had been working I just kept building it up slowley and raise the limits acordially to the bankroll I had,thats the key good fundamentals and bank roll managment,But being broke I would eventually pull the cash and buy something and half to re do it again,Sometimes it didnt work out that way though,hell Ive built a 20bucks into about 300 and lose a 100 of it in a night get scared and pull the rest,but If I did bust I usually lost the 20 I put on .and the money I had built up,But most times its a fun and slow way to make some change;-)I got my 1st set of cheap harps and amp,and also was able to buy exmas guitar for my niece,when Hobostubs ,was broke as a bum,with the 20$ i had to start with,thats the magic of it at least for me it gives me the oportunity to be able to have a chance at making some money,when out of work or without a car,Ive won $300 in a night in 1 tourny,for a buck and had a $175 tourney win with 5$,But you can also get into a 25$ tourny with say 5000 people and get on the final table and win enough to buy a used car,And with tourney they pay 10 percent of the field,I love 5000 people tourneys for just a buck can pay good if you get to the final table and at 10 percent payed then they pay 500 people ,and thats not hard at all to get into the 10 percent,about 1 in 3 for me,The thing is that 500 spot dont pay much your lucky to get back the buy in,it wont start paying well into the last 25 or less spots,and tournys take time.Im a cash game player(ring games) mostly,stud,and stud hi lo,some hold em,Holdem NL for tourneys most times though,But If the moon is right you play your cards right and have the mojo kicken there always a chance to win a chunk of change,even for a Bum like me;-)
