Does anyone know where i can get replacement screws for a Marine band Deluxe? I ordered a Marine Band Deluxe last week and it plays great ,but ive just noticed that two of the screws are not screwed in properly. Ive unscrwed them to find that Hohner have put two male screws in together instead of a female screw and a male screw, which would lock together perfectly. I am looking to find a female screw if possible. I cant really send the harp back because ive played the hell out of it in the last week. Any suggestions?

Tried the local hardware store? If they don't have male and female screw combinations, you could always go with a longer screw and a nut on the bottom side like the Special 20.

Heck yeah, contact Hohner. The fact that you've played the harp doesn't matter. You received a defective instrument.
They are responsible.

easy, john. everybody makes mistakes.

sounds like you are ready for a boycott or something. did you not get a prize in your last box of cracker jacks? lol

but i do agree with you. the harp was put together incorrectly. i'm sure they will send you the bolts.

eharp,
No, I don't need anger management. I just feel that a company should take responsibility for the quality control of their product. Marine Band Deluxes aren't cheap. So often nowadays in the good old USA, the consumer is left hanging if a product is defective, from autos to harmonicas. And fortunately, the story had a happy ending.
