Can anyone help me out and tell me what key Rod Piazza is playing on 'Sunbird' from the album SOUL MONSTER? Or is he maybe using a position I'm not familiar with? I've been struggling with it for ages!

I don't have a harp to hand at the moment and have only heard a short snippet of the track on iTunes. On a first quick listen though, I suspect he's playing third position on either a Bb, Ab or A harp.

Rod uses a Low F harp on "Sunbird",just like George Smith did on the original.

Thanks to both Kingley and tmf714 for taking the trouble to respond, I thought it was Ab too but couldn't make it work, but you nailed it tmf714! It's low F - and I am so pleased to know that, many thanks. I've also learned something else, that Sunbird's a George Smith original. I'll have to check that out. Love this forum!
