Elk River Boogie, it's a tip of the hat to the many, many similar Boogie songs harmonica bands did back in the day. I should have said acrylic comb, by the way.
I have a couple of chroms & would love to be able to play like that...well done. I quickly learnt that I can only do one thing at a time & pushing that button confuses me. Plus I like the small size & no fuss (no windsavers) of diatonics. ---------- HARPOLDIEāS YOUTUBE
i don't play chrom that well-my compliments David- but i do get by. i'm from the carey bell/james cotton/william clarke school of "heck with the button let's keep this simple" school. what i have found to be really eye----- and ear----- opening, is that once you get some 3rd position playing under your belt, chromatic is much easier to make work. in fact i have had to sort of rein in on how much 3rd i play since it works much better with minor key songs than major. the real beauty of chromatic is, your trick bag just gets much much bigger as you learn more about playing one, and playing in 3rd on a diatonic seems to be very closely related as well. ---------- http://www.reverbnation.com/jawboneandjolene
