Brad Harrrison posted a video on youtube today. He explains the differences between stock and custom harps. But the real kicker is he is an awesome player. Mandatory viewing for sure!!The last song on the video is fantastic DeFord Bailey that I have watched at least 50 times today.

Dear all,
I know there a lot of discussion here in the forum about which is a better harp to play. I am a beginner in this, but I have bought almost all of the major diatonics in the market, Hohner, Lee Oskar, Suzuki, Seydel and Hering in their various models. I recently got some custom harps from Bradley Harrison, and its a world of difference compare to the stock ones, regardless of the models. You guys have to try it to believe it.
I am not saying he is the best, 'cause I have not try any other custom harmonicas. But his is certianly enjoyable to play with. Its like good wines, you have to try it to appreciate it.

Wow! I can see I better get busy and save up some money! This vid was really cool! I guess it would be worth a few hundred to be able to overblow. . .in multiple keys!

When you compare the prices of virtually any other professional instrument, I don't see why people are so disgusted at the notion of paying $130 for a serious top-notch custom built musical instrument. It really does make a huge difference in how much you enjoy practicing and playing. You can get the notes you want effortlessly.

Brad's Harps are off the Hook! 1,0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 times better than any stock harp... Just bought a hundred dollar seydel... sucks :) would rather have spent 50 more bucks and gotten the real deal... It's like the difference between An American Fender Deluxe Strat and a Kmart Guitar.

Dude, what the hell?
Why not start a new thread instead of posting to one that is a year old! I spent 30 minutes looking for a freakin' vid that was posted almost a year ago. My fault for thinking someone might be posting to a semi current topic.
Did you buy a Harrison harp? No, it sounds like you bought a Seydel. By your post, the only logical thing you can say is Seydel sucks, I wish I bought a Harrison Harp.
Did you have a purpose for this? I would have liked to have read about a Harrison Harp - not your regrettable purchasing choices (unless perhaps it was a new post that said "i bought a Seydel and i wished i had bought a Harrison.")
I'm all for everyone getting a chance for their say, but be reasonable - please.

Agreed, but not in such a way. Brad makes a good harmonica. Paying a hundred bucks for a stock harmonica is stupid. Man, even seventy is. Remember, Chris Michalek (Buddha) makes some for $85 with a lesson, and if you want to pay over a hundred, there are SO many different customizers out there.
