Blues with a feeling is great. I know that like me about half the people that respond will mention whammer jammer just because you can't leave that classic out. Going along with the Paul Butterfield thing, I like his song "Too Many Drivers". I like the live performance of James Cotton's "Blues in my Sleep" on youtube @ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jBeuco0PgJs
and I also like Jason Ricci's "Dodecahedron"

Yeah, Blues in my sleep.

Does it for me.

Stone Fox chase is another groove. I really like the version Hakan Ehnh does.

Hi guys!

My favourite song has to be "My baby she left me",from the Riddles/Hilbert-album. What a tone that Riddles-guy had!!

Butterfield's version of Blues with a Feeling is great, but I consider Little Walter's harp solo in the original version one of the great harp solos of all time.

here's a slightly different suggestion cos it's off a guitar heroe's CD,but the first time i heard Joe Bonamassa do Your Funeral My Trial i was blown away by the harp playing,i checked out the sleeve notes and was even more amazed to read that it was by a 12 yr old kid called LD Miller,so now i've got the Clayton Miller Band CD and that's got an ace track called illustated man on it,and so the trail of musical discovery goes on!,so much great music,so little time!

Well, it's not really a blues song, but my favorite harmonica solo to date is Blues Traveler's "The Mountains Win Again". Now I typically don't put John Popper in the same category as other blues harp greats, since he is definetely not bluesy on the majority of his stuff, but blues is about emotion, and that solo is overflowing with it.
