Have you ever watched a young child create art of musical sounds? If they haven't been messed with yet by the world, they go at it with such vigor, intensity, and joy. When they are done it is satifaction and happiness they emmit. Then adults look/listen to it and after a nicey nice compliment want to start shaping them into what is "right". It is like they are driven to create order over letting the child follow their own path.
Children also think life will never end. Time seems to go on forever for them. A day can last an eternity as they play. I tap into the child in me with life and how I play my music. It is a joy I find few adults care to tap into. I have been blessed to have not been exposed to the structured adult approach to the arts. Walter
