CONGRATULATIONS to Charlie Musselwhite, winner of the "Traditional Blues Male Artist of the Year" AND "Best Instrumentalist - Harmonica" awards at this year's Blues Music Awards.
Charlie has had an amazing career - and lately been the hardest working harp player on the planet, touring with Cyndi Lauper, Hot Tuna and his own band. He deserves these awards!

wow! ...it doesn't surprise me...well...it just did! What took so long? He is amazing. I am a life long fan of Charlie. I hope to see him play some day. Not many legendary bluesmen come out this way.

whats this his 32nd straight year of winning something similar? I dont think there is a more recognized harp player than he.

I was at the blues music awards this year and sad Charlie perform. He sounded great as ever and was rocking one of Greg's awesome custom wood mics and volume controls.

Congrats, Charlie! I'm also a fan of him for a long time. I saw him in 2010 performing, where I also had the chance to talk with him. He's a great musician and a very friendly guy. I wish him all the best.

Charlie recently plaid a gig close by....Great Show.....as you can see by the pic he plays the best.
