Okay, roll call... who's going to HCH? I'll be a guest teacher-at-large (a new term I just made up). Talk amongst yourselves.

I will be there! I'm bringing at least 3 wood mics (probably more) to show and try, a bevy of Ultimates, plus volume controls, cables, etc..... Looking forward to it!

IMPORTANT REMINDER: Don't forget to check the Hill Country Harmonica forum for news, questions, answers and public service announcements!

I'll be there. I am really looking forward to what I am sure will be a tremendous learning experience and to connecting with a bunch of faceless names.

@Atty - I'm leaving a day earlier than last year, and flying through Salt Lake City instead of Dallas. I think my chances are MUCH better than last year. Maybe I'll make a habit of coming in odd-numbered years.....

I'm riding shotgun with KingBiscuit, I had a great time last year. This year, I'm adding two days to the trip, should be a damn good time.

I'm afraid NOLA will be mainly unrepresented, unless one or two sneak in under the radar(Tell Randy Landry hello for me). Maybe next year. I know the CCHC boys will be attending SPAH, and I might drive up for that weekend from Houston, work schedule permitting, so maybe I will see some of you then.

As my belly is currently growling, I just remembered how awesome the Hollowells' food offerings were-you uninitiated HCH folks are in for a real treat.

Have fun! And make sure you bring some extra dough(was 40$ a gallon last year)for the local KoolAid.

I'm coming. The past two years I've checked a bag so I could bring my harmonica tools which include: small screwdrivers, UST, shims, file. Has anyone traveled and brought small tools packed in a carry on bag? I'm checking TSAs website and it seems like everything I have is acceptable.

I'd REALLY like to avoid paying $25 each way to check my bag this year.

I know its late notice but anyone going from New Orleans on friday with room in a car? I got here a couple days ago but dislocated my elbow first night. Only just bought my ticket coz wasnt sure if Id be able to reach my mouth by then. Still cant but I got one good arm. I traveled from Australia for this. Failing a lift from NOLA, anyone heading out to Foxfire Ranch on saturday from Memphis I could hitch a ride with?
