Very interesting version. Good job. I was reminded of a recording I did several years ago in Holland when I was fronting the Blues Brothers Dedication Revue. I'll post here just for a bit of contrast.

Love that tune, and nicely done by both of you. That made me go back and listen to James Cotton's live recording which I haven't heard in about 20 years. I don't think I ever noticed that there's no harp on it. It certainly fits the tune well though.

Great version LSC! And also James Cotton. Of course these are truer to the original Big Joe Turner's swingin' song. Our video is more swedish-finnish rock beat oriented. I myself is heavily influenced by british pub rock bands like Dr Feelgood (harp player Lee Brilleaux), The Bluesband (harp player Paul Jones), Nine Below Zero (harp player Mark Feltham) and Yardbirds (harp player Billy-Boy Miskimmin). But I love the blues too!
