This spanish style on a diatonic, I had never heard...and I find it's swell! Now if you like this style, I'd rather commend Franco Luciani, from Argentina:
I always use chromatic when I play with this guitarist. He's from Spain. I like the tone it's nice and big and in tune and it's easier for me to think in a lot different scale variation and ornamentation that works well on the chromatic. The corner switching for me easier also. Nothing like a 2016. ---------- Emile "Diggs" D'Amico a Legend In His Own Mind How you doin'
Sapori has so much playing in octave below middle c that I refer to it as a cello tone. This has fooled so many people, good musicians, as to what instrument is being played. The valves also help create an even tone on the blow vibratos. The 2016 can create some incredible tone in the low octave with great acoustic projection. You don't need to be right on the mic to record in the studio. ---------- Emile "Diggs" D'Amico a Legend In His Own Mind How you doin'
I read some lines about the CBH (Huang) 2016. We can't find it in Europe anylonger (since the years '80...) Seems to be outstanding, say mythical! Produced in Hicksville? Now we have the CX12, I've had one in my hands but for stupid reasons (shape-toy looking and sometimes sticking valves) I didn't keep it, though I liked his very good sounding and his more easily bendable reeds -compared to all others I've tried. So, with the 2016 I understand you own a gem (AND available spare parts). Diggs, do you have played and recorded some blues with the 2016?

I have 3. The Hohner techs play them. They come up on ebay. Hohner has the parts and reed plates. Chamber Huang used to oversee the 2016 operation with his first class techs. This the closest to blues that I have on the 2016 that's been recorded.
