Just got an email from Coda music here in the UK about some new products.
One of the things they highlighted were Swart amps, I've never heard of the them but some of the specs and write ups looked pretty interesting, might be good for harmonica but they seem quite expensive and I'm not sure how they would compare to say a more specific harp amp.
Check out the link to check them out.

£799 for a US/UK made handbuilt 6V6 SE amp isn't expensive. It's "ball park".
Garb says it is based on a general Fender design, not too keen on the lack of a NFB loop for harp, on an amp of this type (5F1 & 5F2A both do have one). It is not touted as a "harp amp", that doesn't mean that it won't sound good, just that the builder has not considered it, or is selling it specifically for that purpose.
Whether an amp costs you £799 or £79, what matters is whether it is tried & tested for the purpose that YOU intend to use it for. Once you have taken a £799 plunge on an amp like this, you might need to spend a few more to make it more to your liking (more cost effective than selling & starting again).
Best thing to do is e-mail Swart direct, the shop in the UK just wants to make a sale will rabbit on about "build quality" & have little idea about what you might really want. If you start a dialogue with Swart he might be able to put you in touch with other harp players using his gear & clips/testimonials etc.
Small scale builders tend to be quite open about mods & whether they will/won't entertain them (most do, some don't), most guys just want to sell amps.
For £800 are you looking for a gigging amp, practice/recording amp, or a specific sound?
In the UK, if looking for a harp amp there is Rosewell, Steve Rowse, Weinstock, me...may be more that I'm not aware of.
For 5W SE amps there is the Kendrick or HG in the US. David Barnes makes Vintage 47 amps & a version of the 21x 6V6 Supro Spectator (Ronnie Shellist recently posted some YT clips), David builds repros of Valco amps, as Valco intended.
5F1 & 5F2A were fairly popular prior to the concept of a "harp amp". ---------- www.myspace.com/markburness
