I need to buy a small recorder to record myself and also to record any private lessons. I've contracted loss of brain cells, memory, child of the 60's , cms syndrome and need to refer back later to stuff I forget. Good sound quality would be nice as well, on the recorder not me.heehee ! My sound quality,or lack there of, is another one of the reasons I'm looking for a a recorder. Any suggestions in the $ 150.00 or less range would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your help guys/gals.

Can't go wrong with the Zoom H2 or any of the H4s. I'm not current on their going prices, but my H2 is 1 1/2 years old, and I think it was just over 120$ new. They've since come out with a newer model.
