My black cat and I frequently fight on the floor and yesterday she won by puncturing my bottom lip. Couldn't play at practice today and I've got a gig coming up on Saturday night. Sure hope it's better by then.

Sunny Hobart? Maybe you're right, because up here near Coffs Harbour the weather has been lousy for months. It was a claw that I hadn't trimmed that got me, and there is no infection. Thankfully. Just keeping moisturiser up to it.
seriously about the bite. my buddy got bit by his girlfriend's dog, who had all the updated shots, and he ended up in the hospital 2 weeks later. 2 weeks after that, the doctors amputated both arms to the elbows and both legs to the knees.

My son got scratched by our cat once. Hand blew up like a balloon. On antibiotics for a week. I'd rather get bitten by a Doberman than get a deep gash from a cat's claw scratch.
