I was going to make the subject line of this thread off-topic, but I don't think that's entirely true. Granted, this guy's playing the mountain dulcimer, not harp, but the music, which is almost mindlessly simple, is raw, moving and completely convincing as an honest representation of how he thinks this music should sound. The fact that he's got an amazing, gritty voice doesn't do the performance any harm either.

And, by the way, it's a great number to download and use to practise subtle comping.

I hope you enjoy it as much as I did; it made my hairs stand on end.

this is similar to the juke joint hill country boogie stuff i'm doing lately with Bluesboy Jag. he uses either vintage guitars or cbg's he's built mostly.
hope to have videos up before long of this past show on saturday. one of the best ever.
