I finally took the plunge and bought a Kala uBass, but the budget and space for an amp is limited.
Has anyone used a Roland Micro Cube Bass RX amp with harmonica? At least one prior post states its not a good harp amp.
Dirty tube sound is not necessarily a goal.
Any suggestions for a $200 or less amp that would work for low volume playing with a Bass and (not at the same time) a harmonica?

I've so far only found a post stating that the Micro Cube Bass is not so good for harp. Are you sure you saw something about the RX Bass? Why not go with the RX? That seems to have a decent lower-end? I haven't tried either though.
(I'm interested in the Micro Cube RX myself. Probably will get that as a first amp as soon as I have the cash.) There is a lot of confusion about Cube vs RX on fora, as there are 4 versions total. Hopefully, in this thread, they will remain separate ;)

i know a couple of players that have the micro cube bass.
they love it for bass.
they both think it is serviceable as a harp amp.

Yeah, the micro cube bass rx might be the way to go.
Any thoughts on the VHT special 6 for uBass?

Don't laugh, but I just bought one of these on EBay for £11 including postage.

I heard one a few months ago, and it's perfectly acceptable. Problem is, EBay stiffed me - it was advertised as faulty, but functional, so I emailed the seller. After I had won the auction, they replied that it won't power up. However, I've bought from them before, and usually the broken crap they send me is repairable after they have refunded the money and told me to keep the item!
