SATURDAY!! Bluesboy Jag Band at Reno's in North Little Rock! 10-1 Cigar box guitars, washboards, suitcase bass drums and old school Little Walter style harp all night long! C'mon out after the Tom Petty show!
I'm working with Bluesboy Jag on this one and some others coming up locally soon. Should be a monstrously good show if the one 2 weeks ago is any indication.
We'll try for video or at least audio.

and i have to brag- we flat killed. between the guest gutarist/vocalist/harpman and myself not to mention a great job by a guest bassman and the usual drummer of the trio, and Bill's outstanding guitar work. we just slayed everyone who was walking by outside on the street. people were actually lining up to pay cover and come in!
this hill country style we're doing- open tuning in G, E, or A mostly- is somehow really freeing my chops up. i am mostly in 2nd position but there is some stuff that lends well to 3rd or even 1st position. we are so much on the same wavelength it's uncanny.
wife shot some video which i will try and sort out tomorrow.

i am not the swiftest. it's gonna be way late tonight before i get one onto fbook. probably what i'll do is hand the rest off to Bluesboy Jag and 0once he gets them up i'll drop a link by.
