I was experimenting with alternate tunings for diatonic instruments for several years.
These tunings I made mostly for diatonic Accordions, but as well for Bluesharps.

I found a special, logical, spiral tuning similar to a circle of 4th, meaning that the notes do always have the same steps.
It is always 2 half notes, 2 half notes and then 1 half note and so on....(blow/draw) 2,2,1,2,2,1,2,2,1,2,2,1. ........etcetera.
This allows to play on the same Instrument 5 major-scales, 5 minor-scales and 16 different triads, which are related/similar to the circle of 4th and 5th.

Now the nice thing about this is if you blow or draw any three notes right next to then it will always result in a chord (triad in root position), major or minor depending where you are.
This makes it very easy if you want to use the instrument to accompany someone.

It`s interesting and easy to play, for Blues, Folk and Jazz with the common 3 Chords (C, F and G7 in the key of C)
The next interesting thing is that if you take the next note (next to the first three notes in a row) you will always have the seventh, which is nice for the Blues.
It is always the main note, third, quint and seventh. (7th-chord progression in the circle of 4th or 7th-chord-turnaround)

As an example if you blow from the the C (4 notes in a row) then the notes would be C,E,G,Bb.
Easy as that. And like this you jump from one chord to the next.(C,E,G, Bb---,E,G,Bb,D---G,Bb,D,F---Bb,D,F,Ab---F,Ab,C,Eb)
