My Shaker went out last week... bummer. Anyhow, I was looking into getting something new to use with my Shaker for singing and beatboxing. I chose to go with the Audix Fireball V. It works well with my harps, the lows up to the highs. In the below video, I am playing a Low D and a regular D, Special 20 and Marine Band respectively. It works well for beatboxing and vocals too. In the video, I was trying to ad-lib music, and did not sing very clearly into the mic. This was the first spin I had with this new mic that I got yesterday, so I am super excited in the video. Take special note of the "squeaky drum seat" effects.
I am using an RC-3 Loop Station, a Belcat Digital Delay, Low D and Regular D harps, and of course, my new Audix Fireball V. Enjoy!
