I grow an abundance of tomatoes every year, last year grew some "brandy wines" that were so good the deer camped out in my backyard to be close to them...By the end of the year I have dozens of green tomatoes left ready for the fryin pan...Great song and snack to boot!

Thanks, eharp. About a year ago, somebody hipped me to the search engine for XM/Sirius. If you've got an album in their rotation--and two songs from SOUTHBOUND are now in the Bluesville rotation--you can find out exactly what day/hour/minute they're played:

Forum may remember that I was considering including "Green Tomatoes" on the album as it, without adding any other instrument, and earlounge took the initiative and took the raw track, worked up a bass part, and sent it to me. I loved it, so that's the version I used on the album.
