I will be in Las Vegas next week for two weeks. Does anyone have any suggestions for harp-related stuff while I am there?
I looked on this forum and saw a thread that died about one year ago.
Thanks, Brad

Yes my man check the lv blues society for open jams, and band schedules. The lucky cheats have a good harp man, also pete contino band at the estring in henderson.A few scattered harp guys around hard to keep track of.Also boulder station has blues every sat.,just missed Rod Piazza.
I play some harp at assorted small club jams.there are alot of those throughout the valley.Dr. Harpo and to the moon are a good outfit.I would say the blues is kinda lacking here, but alot of options and things going, competition wise keep it in the background.
I used to play in country bands back in the 80's where the harp was heard more,it seems they have gone for a different sound,Anyway good luck.

Thanks capnj! In the post from a year ago someone mentioned the Sand Dollar Lounge. Do you know anything about it?

ATL that was a hopping blues spot, but they changed owners, things went downhill. They pop up with a blues act,but don't promote.BB King has a blues club in the mirage hotel, good acts, some harp maybe mostly guitar.Lucilles BBq in henderson has blues acts good food, fun atmosphere.Todd hite and stonehedge are aroung somewhere,he plays good harp and host's jams.

Thanks capnj. Just got here this evening. Sounds like Henderson is a good bet. Are you playing anywhere?
