In 07 when I decided I wanted to play harmonica, I went to cable radio to the blues station and this was the first song I heard with harmonica. I had no idea who Mitch was and had no idea it was in first position. I just knew I liked it. I ordered the Wake Up and Worry CD right then from Amazon.

I pull this CD up about once every couple of months just to review and enjoy my first harp CD.

I am very excited that Mitch will be at Hill Country. I especially hope he will play some of his great first position stuff.

note to mods..I have no idea if the video poster is legally using this music, whether Mitch minds the exposure or not...etc..etc ..

Mitch Kashmar is fantastic, he's one of my favourite players. Wake Up and Worry is a superb CD. Mitch plays 100% tongue blocked (and yes that does include all those blow bends too!). He is another of those great blues players who doesn't get the coverage he deserves in my opinion.

I agree Kingley. Wake Up and Worry has a variety of harmonica styles. Mitch is superb!...and that is coming from a lip blocking player.

He is underated...great singer as well. People will know who he is after Hill Country.
