I know this is a little off topic....and I could have posted it on the HCH forum, but I thought I might get more responses here. My plan is to drive to Nashville on Tuesday May 15th. then Wednesday continue on to Mississippi. I have heard that the drive from Nashville to Memphis is pretty boring, and a friend suggested that I drive the Natchez Trace Parkway. I know it will add time to the trip.....But Id rather have a beautiful drive and see a different part of the country. The problem is I can't find good directions to the Natchez Trace Parkway from Nashville. 1. Should I bag it and just go "the easy way"....or 2. Should I take the "road less traveled"....and still make it to Clarksdale at a reasonable hour LOL ! ----------

I used to drive from Nashville to Tulsa, OK a lot years ago. It was a 10 hour trip but it felt like 8 of them were from Nashville to Memphis. It has to be one of the most boring drives ever.
I do remember driving throught the national park and it was beautiful. I seem to remember there was a great restaurant to get breakfast by a big bridge near the park . Sorry about the vague details, but it has been over 10 years since I lived in Nashville. ---------- Danny
