Hello everyone, Ronnie Shellist was one of those guys that inspired me a whole lot (thanks to youtube) when I first picked up the instrument. It has been years since then, and I, unfortunately, haven't paid the same attention to him as I did in the beginning.
Well, I hear that he has instructional CD's for sale. I mean the guy is really good blues player, and I enjoyed his instructions on youtube, but what about these instructional cd's? From what I can see, he has lessons on "Finding your Inner Groove", "Fast Blues Licks", and "Call and Response Blues Licks".
Did anyone try any of these? Any opinions/reviews/comments?

I am currently taking lessons from Ronnie. I have several of Ronnies downloads at our last lesson he gave me the "Inner Groove" cd. I would equate Ronnies stuff like Adams downloadable lessons, excelllent value for the small amount paid. When compared to a lesson they really are a steal. Try one lesson and Im sure you will not be disappointed.

I've taken private lessons with Ronnie and have downloaded some of his lessons, most recently the Fast Blues Licks lesson for, I think, $9.99. It's a well-spent ten bucks. I have sent guys like Ronnie, Adam, Pat Missin and others ten bucks from time to time in appreciation for the vids they post. I figure it carries the same weight as a thank-you note. I'm not a wealthy man, but I feel that if I benefit from their efforts, I should show some appreciation.
