the little i know about him tells me he had a really full life with blues and harp. thank you Mr. Boogie! ---------- http://www.reverbnation.com/jawboneandjolene
I still remember an EP I got in the mid 70's that included both sides of his old Rex 45 from 1960 that had Steady and She's Tough and it just blew me away. About a year or so later, I got a 45 that had two previously unissued tunes from that session that wer pretty damned good too. In an interview, he always said he avoided playing turnarounds during a solo (or as he called them, turnbacks)> ---------- Sincerely, Barbeque Bob Maglinte Boston, MA http://www.barbequebob.com CD available at http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/bbmaglinte
