Wow! Frank. I've learnt something here but I'm not sure what it is yet but I think I've being doing it all wrong. When I play to a backing track I've been playing in sympathy to the track if you know what I mean. I tend to hear a bit of the track and play something similar to get this call and response thing going I suppose.
You on the other hand, jump right in and seem to lead the way. It's as if the track is backing you where I'm backing the track. Hard to explain exactly but I think you'll get my meaning. I need to take control more and drive the tune my way.
Great driving playing there. Could you tell us the track name and key please? It's always good to know.
Appreciate the kudos Tooka - The jamtrack is from the address below...The key is "F" 2nd pos, on a "Bb" Crossover Harp.

As far as the "track backing me" that's the way Little Walter did it, so I was just taking his lead, his spirit and drive and making it as much of my own as humanly possible at this moment in my development as a player.

frank that's the difference between a front man and a side man! my compliments. not that there is no need for sidemen, there is. i lean more toward frontman usually unless i'm being used for side stuff.
looks like a green bullet and a fender amp? or is that a peavey delta blues? pedals, delay?
you do some stuff very well that still eludes me after decades. probably speaks to actually studying technique and learning scales and so forth which i have yet to do!
again my compliments. ---------- http://www.reverbnation.com/jawboneandjolene
@jbone...Thank you kindly, It's a Holland "Westside Andy" Amp with built in re-verb that I used and a little software delay - no pedals. I'm sure you do things on the harp that elude me too jbone, have a great day!
@Martin... Thank you for pointing that error out, I edited the blunder, your abilities continue to serve you well :)
