I bought marine band from Rockin' Ron's two weeks ago. When it showed up the 4 draw was dead. I took off the covers, plinked it a bit, tried adjusting the gap but got no where.

After talking to Ron's I called Hohner. They directed me to a web page that had a return authorization form. I filled it out and sent the harp back U.S. mail ($1.90 or so shipping).

About a week later I received a NEW harp in the mail from Hohner in full working order. However, yesterday I received an invoice for $9.90 shipping, which pissed me off. I called there just moments ago, ready to be an ornery S.O.B. but the woman I spoke to couldn't have been more pleasant or helpful. She simply removed the charge and apologized.

I'm writing this because I was fully ready to write a ripping post about how bad Hohner treated their customers, etc. had they not taken care of me. So, KUDO'S TO HOHNER for doing the right thing.

but a "ripping" thread is so much more lively!

but it is good to know that they got an understanding policy.

Yeah, I was really ready for a fight and then a ripping post so as much as I appreciate their reasonable response it did take the fun out of it!
