Watch out the labels on Lee Oskar's minor natural and harmonic.

I wanted to hear the difference between an A major classic Richter and a A minor natural, and ordered a Lee Oskar natural minor in A. It has just been delivered, and the surprise is that the first blow is a D, because the tuning is made to play the A in second position.
On the opposite, the harmonic minor's first blow IS A, it's labelled to play straight harp.
If you didn't know, now you know.

But whatever the tuning could be, it's nice sound anyway.

The key listed on LO minor tuned harps are in 2nd position, wheras everyone else's is listed in 1st position, and this has been this way since LO hit the scene in 1985.

Actually, the earlier ones were tuned to 1st position.
I ordered a C back in the late 80's and it was a C as expected.
Later on I ordered a D and an A. The D turned out to be a G and the A turned out to be a D!

Amazing all the same.
I think Hohner's policy is not that one.
