I just removed the 4 that where in my bassman and installed 4 Webers, 2 of the webers are alnico and the other 2 are ceramics, I really like the way the amp sounds now, it breaks up when I want it to and it seems to have a fuller sound MUCH more smoother almost a creamy sound, also I don't need to turn the vol up past about 5 or 6 now the sound seems to be in your face now?. the p10's seemed alittle bright to me and seemed to lack in the bottom, and I could not get them to break up easily unless I turned the volume up higher. I have 4 P10Q speakers for sale if any body is interested.

I'm pretty sure bluesonthewater is talking about original p10q not the reissues. Two different animals. The originals will eat the reissue for lunch.

An original P10Q vs Weber 10125? Close run thing with the nod, in general, going to the P10Q, though Weber gets closer over time. They're supposed to be broken in from the factory but I think they get better after a break in period.

Use in other amps? They'll be great in any amp they are technically matched to.
