I often am curious why most people don't have endless songs coming out of them. Life is one song after another and the journey between life and death gives us endless songs to create. Here are some from tonight.
do you know who you are why I play my music at night the day of the perfect bluesman I have to shake it everyday

XHarp: You are welcome! My life revolves around my need to play music. It always has. One of the reasons we left California was so we could live cheaper and I could build a detached studio and stock it with good recording gear. My wife knew right out of the gate that I was and have continued to be driven to persue the journey of pioneering a new way of doing music. It is very exciting to have lived life this way. I had my tubes tied at 23. Kids would have been a major log jam for my music. Such is the way I live life. We have learned to keep life simple. This allows for lots of free time. Luckily she enjoys a lot of alone time. It really doesn't take all that long to record a cd worth of material. I pedal my bike home from work, am done walking the dogs and basic chores by 3:30, then in the studio I go. I record for about an hour and mix for another hour and it is all done and posted on my soundclick site and here. I put about 1/4 of the songs I record each day on the net. Loading them takes too long. I prefer to be recording music. Walter ---------- walter tore's spontobeat - a real one man band and over 1 million spontaneously created songs and growing. Gotta friend on his last leg. For me music doesn't come to mind. I hope he's still breathing when I go over tomorrow. I doubt he'll be here next week. All I can do is shake my head. Life is short and he's too young.

Lil Ripper, I'm sorry to hear about your friend, buddy, I know he is better off for having you in his life.
I tear up as I have some folks who have been working for/with me in Dallas who have really been struggling. We have been working together doing really hard work for quite a while now and I have come to really cherish them as people and friends. Somedays the only food they ate was the food I brought to work, and one day one of them said he was tired of being a burden on everyone and I still can't think about that moment without crying.
I wish I didn't underbid, i wish I could do more for them, I wish I had more work, I love them like my brothers, I hope they will find something good and stay out of trouble till I can create the next project.
All just to say, life is sacred, and love, grace and brotherhood are sacred. Hang in there my friend, good for you for honoring and being with your friend.
Walter, I hope you don't mind me going here on your thread, but I see you as the perfect holder of the space for this conversation ---------- Shane,

very interesting Billy- thanks! I am in very good company for sure. Maybe I should promote myself from this angle. People love to see a freak in action-the sick nature of mankind at its best. BTW I don't write, I just sing. Nothing is ever written down and performed. that would't be spontaneous. I just sing what is inside.
