Hi everyone
I've worked out most of the harp in 'When the Levee Breaks' by Led Zeppelin, but I just can't quite get the short riff between 1:47 and 1:50. If anybody has any suggestions, please let me know!

There's something in the left channel at that point that might be harp, but it's hard to tell. Could be Page doing his black magic.

When I have played this with the record, I use a Bb. A lot of people will do it in E. If you can't figure it out exactly, why not just put your own thing in? Good heavy rock should be spontaneous in my opinion. It is a fun song to play.

I seem to remember something about some of the harp stuff being pre-recorded and then played backwards...but maybe I dreamt it.

yeah just fake it, feel it ou,t do it with a band or another guitar player. i did this with a folk guitarist he played a different riff altogether. when i did it with a full band i did it with elvis vocals and added lines from memphis minnies original version. we never did anything like the record whats the point?
