Hello I just decide to ask here, cause it's a largest blues harp forum i know. I play harmonica and i play mostly Irish music. For now my favorite harmonica model is Suzuki Promaster 350V, i like it very much. But Suzuki do not making Low keys blues harmonicas.
So the question is - is there any way to get Suzuki Low D Promaster? I can use Hohner or Seydel Low D, but i just like Promasters more.

You could tune a Low F down with solder, but the Promaster covers might be problematic, as the longer swing of the reeds might make them hit the covers.
I agree, Low D is great for Celtic music but can benefit from robust volume, which comes from longer reeds. I personally find XB-40s and Big Rivers (yes, Big Rivers-or any MS harp) to deliver better volume in a Low D for that reason.

I have a Suzuki Easy Rider with red covers that is/was a low D. I tuned it down to a low C. Not sure about the Promaster.

@Todd - WHERE did you get an Easy Rider in Low D? I thought they only came in C. Was it as inexpensive as the Easy Rider usually is?

Winslow,
I placed an order with Norman's Harmonica Centre, back around 2002 I believe... and he threw it in free with my order. I was just as shocked when I discovered it also! :)

Norman had a way of finding those things. I have SBS harps in Low G and Low A that I got from Norman. The standard models are in Regular G and A on the bottom end, progressing to a High G and A. Not these babies . . .

WinslowYerxa, thank you for idea. Actually i've decided to try to make Low D from Low F, but not with solder. I'll make Low D withot first hole and with one extra high hole :) I do not need that low D/E anyway, because i play melodies from 4 hole up.
so notes will be A C# E G B C# E G B E F# A D F# A D F# A D F#
