Do you guys clean your harps . can you do a quick job like spraying then down with lysol and letting them sit out.or how do you guys clean them .thanks. reason I ask I got a bad chest cold and sore throat. Have note played a note in a week.

It's been mentioned before but I don't think you can re-infect yourself with a cold, so it would only be an issue for someone else if you let them play your harp and you probably won't want to be doing that.

I use a isopropyl alcohol spray once in a while as part of a general clean-up process. I have also used denture cleaning tablets, drop a tablet in a mug of water and soak the harp (cover plates off) for a while.
Not suitable for wood combs though.

never clean my harps...you cannot be infected with your own germs=fact but if you let others play them you damn sure better clean them
