On my recent Asia tour I played with local musicians wherever I went. The standard was rather variable (to put it charitably!).

One of the most fun experiences was with a very young Manila band called the Bleu Rascals, all under 20. They recently performed in the International Blues Challenge 2012 in Memphis, and won lots of fans. Their guitarist/singer Paul is particularly talented, only 18 I believe.

Here's a version of my song "I'm a Harmonica Man" we did together. A little bit of mis-communication at times (we'd only just met on stage), but the vibe is good:
