I've got to double this piano tag line at the end of a solo - on an upcoming recording session. Having no or little pride - I'll tell you It has taken quite a bit of work to figure it out - even tough it sounds pretty simple and is not a whole lot of notes..

It's in E and I've worked it out on an A harp in second. I've got the notes worked out in the lower and middle octaves of the harp, - but playing it in the middle is a be-atch for me to play correctly and in time - so I'll stick with the low end fo the harp.

See how long it takes for you to get it right - then tell us how long and how you did it. I'll post the tab and maybe my overdub for it later if there is any interest or response to this.

I think this is the kind of thing that seperates the pros from the semi's (moi)
I'd expect the hot shot's here will have no problem getting right on it - Me on the other hand . . . had to wrestle with it a while.

Not that hard to figure out the notes - in 2nd it requires the 6OB on the 2nd octave. But those are tough bends to play precisely in the 1st octave for sure. I have the basic melody within a minute or two but it would take several 10 minute practice sessions to play it fluidly in second. I tried it in 3rd position - much easier, actually.

8 min.s ? - Your good.

If you drop it in itunes you can set it on repeat and it will loop. The icons for that are in the way lower left of the itunes window, right next to the shuffle icon is a sideways oval, click on that till it lights with a '1' on it and it will loop. I had to slow it down in apple Logic, loop it, work the notes out on a keyboard and go from there.

Greg - your correct about the 6 OB in the middle ocatve, - I can do it and do use it - but can't hit it repeatedly and confidently as this would call for. Only spent a moment trying it in 3'd -- I'll have to try it again.

for cheaters like me:

Bones, No I'm not that good. I spent 8 minutes and figured most of it out but wanted to loop it for repeated practice. After work i'll drop it in itunes
