Great playing from Mark Hummel as always. George Smith certainly taught those West Coast guys how to play great blues chromatic.

I think the tone is way too harsh for me.
Now this is real chromatic playing from a real master.
He was also a close friend of Gershwin and jammed with him at a party.Fiddle player ain't bad either lol

Well, that's what you get with a bullet mic. One tone, and one tone only, no matter what material is being played.

Mark Hummel's playing is great but I think I prefer this song with an acoustic set up. Larry Adler is one of the greatest. Thanks for both posts!

This song is perfect for trying out third position on diatonic if you are a beginner. I have posted this before but I do love a backing track from jazzbacks.com Again: check out Christelle's latest version or mine on YT to hear all of it. But there's also a sample on the site above.
