Got my first vintage mic today. Managed to get my hands on an Astatic 335 H in very good condition. Paid nearly nothing for it off the 'bay and got it quickly.
Having a lot of fun with it so far. I like the tone and its easy to cup well. I'm running it into a Vox DA5, so no killer vintage tube amp yet, but its still fun and thats what matters.
Everything I find on it (not a lot) says its a 'mid-Z' element.
Eventually, I'd like to put a volume control with it, but for now I like it as is.
